Emergency Preparedness

Welcome to Steuben County Public Health’s Emergency Preparedness website!

Plan, Prepare, Practice

We have selected materials that will be of help to you, your family, your business or your community in the event of some type of disaster. Like many other government agencies, we plan, prepare and practice using an All-Hazards approach.

(This means we try not to have multiple plans but one major plan that can be changed to fit the type of the disaster.) There are many other agencies at the local, state and national levels who also have roles to play.
