Steuben County Bicentennial Ark

The ark "Steuben" made a successful trip from Corning, New York to Havre de Grace, Maryland in June of 1996 to mark the bicentennial of Steuben County via the Chemung and Susquehanna Rivers. Approximately 200 miles were covered on the rivers, but due to low water and a few obstructions, 125 miles were covered by land. The crew (land  and river) said that the people all along the way were friendly and cooperative from New York to Maryland! Everyone had a wonderful and memorable time.
