As Chief Executive Officer of Corning, Inc., he has actively supported this area through his leadership of the company, his support of Corning Enterprises, and other related activities. In 1991, under his leadership, Corning, Inc. donated a park to the City of Corning and announced the building of a new corporate office building in the city. He continues the family tradition of keeping Corning home to Corning Inc.
