 STEUBEN COUNTY A companion, peer, equal. The Compeer Program brings sensitive, caring volunteers and persons receiving mental health therapy together in one-to-one friendship relationships. The Steuben County Compeer Program is sponsored by the Steuben County Community Mental Health Center and is funded by a grant from the New York State Office of Mental Health.
